One day in my shoes

As every day, I wake up ten minutes before my classes start, brush my teeth, get dressed, have a quick breakfast and leave for a new school day.

As every day, I have to be dynamic and motivated at every hour of class because an hour worked in class will not be an hour to be repeated later.

So I go down to my classroom and remember the ideas I shared in the last few classes in this subject.

In our sales representation course, we worked on a destination of our choice, to later simulate a meeting with professionals.

In our accounting course, we learn to analyze financial statements to understand how a company operates, in order to possibly create one in the future.

In our eco-responsible event course, we are working on an organisation booklet to organise a fictitious congress. We have to give back a file of more than a hundred pages, it is a job to be done little by little.

We don’t have many subjects, but they are all related to professional life, we work on something concrete.

I don’t have any courses to write in my computer at all, all our work to be done is a big project, which therefore takes precedence over the regular course hours as in France.

As every day I therefore continually try to organize myself in my work to be returned because the work being as important as it is interesting, I want it to be finished on time, while being satisfied with what I have returned.

At midterms, stress plays a big part in a student’s life, in my life.

Nevertheless, being a tourism student is a real pleasure for me. I feel like I have found my way and that I have found my vocation in a sector of activity that I like.
